The church with its beautiful campanile marks the center of the village. In the two café bars next door, the old men meet to discuss the latest events in the world, and, above all, village history. While staying at one of the holiday homes we arrange for at Montecorice, you can do your shopping at small mom-and-pop stores; there is also a post office along the village road.
Montecorice is ideal for guests who wish for peace and quiet away from the coast and at the same time wish to spend their holidays not too far from the sea.
The nearest beach (rocks) at San Nicola a Mare is only 3 km off. Wide and fine sandy beaches are found near Acciaroli.
Hiking tours on the Siren cape and into the largely untouched hinterland of the Cilento with splendid views upon the coast and the mountainscape of Campania thrill active vacationers.
Lovers of culture will not miss out on a trip to the nearby, UNESCO World Heritage listed medieval town of Castellabate.
Nearest train station: Agropoli.
