It lies hidden amongst old olive trees, at the end of a 100 m private access road – holiday home Casa Giuseppe in Marina Campagna, a district of medieval Pisciotta.
The houses of Marina Campagna lie scattered on a mountain slope, which looks like a huge olive grove. Casa Giuseppe is embedded in such lush nature that the fascinating view of the sea and of the untouched coastal landscape from the balcony comes almost as a surprise.
Casa Giuseppe is an airy, high-ceilinged holiday home, which accommodates up to 4 persons. It includes two bedrooms, an open living room, a kitchen and a bathroom.
The spacious double bedroom opens onto the roofed, furnished balcony, from where your eyes roam across the deep green olive trees to take in the wonderful view of the sea and the coast.
The layout of the living room and the kitchen of Casa Giuseppe is semi open-plan. The living area is furnished with a sofa and a chair as well as TV. A fireplace provides for a cozy atmosphere during the cooler season.
The kitchen area includes a modern built-in kitchen with gas stove, oven and refrigerator as well as dining furniture for four.
Furnishing of the bathroom includes a bathtub with shower device, WC, bidet and washing machine.
Both the roofed sea view balcony and the furnished terrace in front of the house are lovely places for dining out in the open, under the Cilento sky. There is also a grill at your disposal in the outdoor area.
As there is not only a fireplace, but also central heating, Casa Giuseppe is also suitable for a stay during the winter months. During your stay you have also got WiFi access at your disposal.
Parking is available at the house. Given the location of Casa Giuseppe, we strongly recommend a car for your stay.
The beach of Marina Campagna is only 700 m off and easy to reach on foot. It has sandy and pebbly sections. Long sandy beaches are found at Marina di Ascea and Palinuro and Caprioli.
The nearest grocery stores, bars and restaurants are found at Pisciotta, 4 km off.
On the coastal road from Palinuro to Velia, the small medieval town of Pisciotta lies picturesquely on a hilltop above the Mediterranean Sea. Walking the narrow terraced alleys, passing palazzos and rows of houses dating from the 16th century, you experience the unique atmosphere of authentic Southern Italian village life.
The lively fishing village of Marina di Camerota with its charming „centro storico“ and the "porto turistico" is only a few kilometers off and also worth a visit.
During your stay, you are embraced by an exceptionally green, rural idyll; only from time to time the railroad, which runs through Marina Campagna on a small stretch, reminds you of the hustle and bustle of daily life.
Nearest train station: Pisciotta-Palinuro (ca. 6 km).
