Their interest in the history of Italy gave the owning couple the idea to think of a very special name for their only recently restored rustico. The name „Villa due Sicilie“ is based on the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, which existed about 200 years ago. It encompassed the island of Sicily and the southern regions of the Italian mainland, which also includes the Cilento. Up to the time Italy was unified it was the largest of the Italian kingdoms.
Experience Italy’s history at close range in the authentic Cilento area!
The villa in Pisciotta-Caprioli offers any kind of comfort and fantastic views. Behind the holiday home, the hilly and green mountain landscape unfolds before your eyes and the view from your terrace opens upon the Tyrrhenian Sea with Capo Palinuro to your left.
The sea view villa is located on a 5000 m², partly fenced property with garden.
When entering, you find yourself in the living-/dining room with SAT-TV, fireside and kitchen area (4-burner gas stove, oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, espresso machine, toaster, bread cutter and juicer).
Here, you feel at ease and cozy while a fire in the fireside spreads its warmth on spring and autumn evenings.
The two double bedrooms upstairs have en suite bathrooms (shower, WC, bidet, hair dryer).
One of the bedrooms offers a fantastic view of the sea and the Cape of Palinuro, from the other one you get an impression of the vast Cilento mountain landscape.
Pick your favorite spot in the garden around the holiday home, where you find holm oaks, fruit and olive trees.
The terrace with sun beds and garden furniture is ideal place to relax while reading a good book.
On the terrace, there is also a barbecue and, from April to October, an outdoor shower.
The villa is furnished with washing machine, SAT-TV, radio, CD player, central heating, barbecue and outdoor shower (April – October).
Parking is available on the premises.
The center of Caprioli with supermarket and butchery is only 400 m off.
It is 2.5 km to the sandy beach of „Saline“. Parking is available there.
Caprioli is part of the comune of Pisciotta, an idyllic mountain village only about 4 km from your villa. Linger for a while in the village square and savor a delicious cappuccino – we are sure you will enjoy Southern Italian village life.
Our recommendation: Visit the market at Pisciotta, which takes place on Wednesday mornings.
