Time at small, tranquil Marina di Pisciotta with its golden brown houses has not stood still, but it does seem to pass more slowly. Heavily loaded, old three-wheeled Apes rattle through the narrow alleys, small fishing boats lie drowsily in the harbor and the locals meet for a café at the nearest bar and gaze out to sea.
On the outskirts of this romantic small place, on the premises of a former farm, among old olive trees and just 100 m from the steep coast lies holiday home Casa Giulietta. With its quarry stone façade so typical for the region the lovely small house blends wonderfully into the landscape.
Holidays in this place are sure to be a very special experience!
As Casa Giulietta is spaciously laid-out and accommodates up to 8 persons, you might spend your holidays there with your whole family or with friends and acquaintances.
There are three bedrooms, two with double beds and one with twin beds. Two more beds can be provided upon request.
In the bright kitchen-and-dining area the deep blue of the wall tiles catches your eye immediately and harmonizes with the white of the kitchen cabinets. The kitchenette is equipped with, amongst others, 4-burner gas stove, oven and refrigerator with freezer compartment. The kitchen-dining area is open towards the living area, where you find a cozy sitting area with sofa and SAT-TV.
Each of the two bathrooms is equipped with shower cabin, WC and bidet.
Furnishing of Casa Giulietta includes washing machine and grill. Parking is available on the premises.
The holiday home includes a spacious outdoor area. On the roofed terrace, you can enjoy your meals and a marvelous view of the Mediterranean Sea and in the evening watch the sun disappear into the sea.
In the garden, relax on the sun loungers and enjoy your 'bath' in the Southern Italian sun.
Bars, restaurants and a small grocery store are found at Marina di Pisciotta, 1.5 km off. 800 m along a narrow footpath takes you to the beach of Marina di Pisciotta.
It is 5 minutes by car to the main town of Pisciotta. If you don’t mind the ascent, you can follow a footpath up to the mountain village.
Capo Palinuro is absolutely worth an excursion. With sheer drops of up to 80 m, the rocks of the cape fall steeply to the sea below; in between you find wild-romantic bathing bays which, with few exceptions, can only be reached by boat. Take part in a boat tour, if you want to have a look inside the caves which open towards the sea. The best-known cave is Grotta Azzurra. By way of an underwater tunnel daylight finds its way into the grotto from below, hence the intense blue of the water.
Nearest train station: Pisciotta-Palinuro (ca. 4.5 km).
