Porticello, Cala d’Arconte, Capo Grosso - The three gorgeous sandy beach bays lie at the feet of charming Villetta Rosalba and separate the latter from the former fishing village of Marina di Camerota. The area is not only attractive to those who love long beach holidays.  

You immediately feel the relaxing atmosphere around the house, which is located on slightly sloping premises. While unwinding on the sun loungers or losing yourself in your holiday read in the shade of the terrace, you easily lose track of time. It is when dusk falls that the charm of this place really unfolds. The setting sun then bathes the headlands and small islands off Marina di Camerota in warm red light.

Holiday home with tasteful wooden furniture

The inside of Villetta Rosalba is characterized by tasteful wooden furniture. It harmonizes perfectly with the wood beamed ceiling, which provides for a quite fitting rural ambience as well as a cozy atmosphere.

The holiday home includes two bedrooms, a bathroom as well as a living-dining room with kitchenette.

The kitchenette is framed by sunny yellow tiles, which catches your eye as soon as you enter the house. It is equipped with, amongst others, 4-burner gas stove, oven and refrigerator with freezer compartment. Sitting at the dining table, you can let your gaze wander out towards the olive trees and the vast sea. During the take-it-easy time of the day, make yourself comfortable on the sofa in the living-dining room, where you have also got SAT-TV at your disposal.

The double bedroom of Villetta Rosalba is very cozy. After getting up in the morning, open the shutters and take in the view of the coast and the nearby sea. The next room is a twin bedroom. Both rooms have got fitted wardrobes, where you can easily store all your holiday clothes.

The windowed bathroom is furnished with shower, WC and bidet as well as a washing machine.

Outdoor area with sea view terrace

On the spacious premises Villetta Rosalba is located on, the holiday home's own outdoor area is clearly defined.

You enter the house with its tasteful interior via the roofed terrace. The latter opens upon a view of gently rocking waves, fine sandy bays and olive treed slopes. This part of Villetta Rosalba's outdoor area is furnished with solid wooden tables and chairs. 

A few steps down from the terrace, there is a small 'sun platform' with cozy loungers and a marvelous view of the sea.

On the fenced premises, you also find an outdoor shower and a grill at your disposal as well as a small vegetable garden. Parking is available for up to two cars.

Further information

The center of Marina di Camerota with restaurants, bars and stores open year-round is about 2 km from Villetta Rosalba. The nearest supermarket is found about 1 km off, at the entrance into Marina di Camerota. Please mind that in the main travel month of August the town is a very lively place and a lot may be going on in and around the town until late in the evening.

Not within your view, but a mere 800 m from the house, lies the sandy beach bay of Porticello, which you can reach only on foot via a surfaced path. It takes you only a few minutes by car to reach other bathing bays and the long, fine sandy beaches between Palinuro and Marina di Camerota.

Our tip

Every year, the beaches along the Camerota coastline are 'honored' and counted among the most beautiful in Italy by Legambiente (Italian environmental organization). Baia Infreschi, a natural harbor south of town, has thus become rather well known. A hiking trail 'lined' by the sea runs from the outskirts of town straight into this bathing paradise. A trip by boat from the harbor to Infreschi bay is a bit 'easier' and faster. It is a wonderful experience and a unique opportunity to see those treasures of the coast which, otherwise, remain hidden from the eye.
