Should you decide to stay at holiday home Piccola Dea with its nice quarry stone façade, you are sure to enjoy the exclusive spectacle you witness from the terrace in the evening, when the sun disappears into the sea and the sky turns a fiery red.
When we stopped at Acciaroli, friendly owner Donato told us how the name of the holiday home was born. DEA are the initials of the family members’ first names: Donato, Elena, his daughter, and Attila, his wife. Besides, "piccola dea" translates as "small deity".
You instantly feel the inviting atmosphere and notice the love for detail which Attilia attached great importance to when furnishing the house.
Look forward to days of repose in the midst of genuine nature and a fantastic 180° sea view at holiday accommodation Piccola Dea! The small house lies in gorgeous panoramic location on a hill above Acciaroli, near the end of a residents-only road. The wide sandy beaches and the town of Acciaroli with its harbor promenade and picturesque centro storico are only 2 km off.
The bright (one-room) living area includes a pull down bed for two, a sofa, SAT-TV, dining furniture as well as a kitchenette with 4-burner gas stove, oven und refrigerator with freezer compartment.
The modern bathroom is equipped with shower cabin, WC and bidet.
Furnishing of the holiday home also includes washing machine, WiFi and air conditioning.
On the spacious sea view terrace, you find garden furniture and two sunbeds at your disposal. The solid canopy provides for shade and serves you well on hot days.
Enjoy the mystic evening atmosphere, when the sun disappears into the sea on the horizon, while savoring a glass of wine and look forward to the day to come and more beautiful holiday impressions.
You can park your car on the fenced premises.
Hemingway visited it in 1953 and since then it has been quite well-known - the coastal town of Acciaroli 2 km off with its beautiful harbor promenade and cozy cafés.
When approaching Acciaroli via the scenic coastal road, the church in its exposed location is easy to spot.
Treat yourself to the Mediterranean cuisine of fresh fish and vegetables as well as delicious pasta dishes at nice restaurants such as Bocaccio.
The gently sloping sandy beaches in the surrounding area are only 2 km off and they are sure to make the hearts of water bugs beat faster. The beaches of Acciaroli have repeatedly been awarded the Blue Flag for best water quality.
Visit the medieval mountain village of Castellabate ca. 20 km off. Stroll through the centro storico with its alleys full of nooks and crannies, its archways and labyrinthine stepped paths. It is for good reason that Castellabate has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
