Holidays in Southern Italy – this makes you think of sea and fun at the beach, small picturesque fishing villages, the song of cicadas and sitting leisurely on the terrace with the sea in view on mild evenings. At Casa Viola in Marina di Pisciotta you are sure to enjoy a lot of fantastic 'holiday moments'.
Given the apartment's location between the medieval mountain village of Pisciotta and the small fishing village of Marina di Pisciotta and only 50 m from the footpath which connects the two villages, you find at Casa Viola what makes the Cilento so special – both sea and mountains are so very close.
Casa Viola offers 70 m2 of living space on the ground floor of a semi-detached house in hillside location; an external staircase runs up to the apartment. Two roofed terraces offer additional outdoor living space and a wonderful view of the sea. Large windows in the rooms make for a pleasant atmosphere.
French doors onto the roofed sea view terrace provide for a bright, airy atmosphere in the living/dining room, which is furnished with, amongst others, a sofa bed for a fifth person and TV. From the living/dining room an open doorway lets you into the separate kitchen, which is furnished with solid wooden cabinets. It opens onto the side terrace, from where you can also let your gaze roam out to sea.
Casa Viola has two bathrooms. The bathroom with bathtub/bidet/WC is accessible from the hallway. The bathroom with shower/bidet/WC is the en-suite of one of the bedrooms. There are two comfortable bedrooms, both with double bed and access of the outdoor area.
Furnishing of Casa Viola also includes a washing machine. Parking is available in front of the house. On the ca. 700 m2 terraced estate you are sure to find your favorite spot, e.g. to read a book in the shade of an olive tree, children are sure to enjoy playing hide-and-seek in the olive grove.
The village center of Marina di Pisciotta with bars, restaurants and a grocery store and the beach are at a walking distance of ca. 300 m; by car it is about 1 km along the road.
A few minutes' walk takes you to picturesque Pisciotta's "centro storico", where you dive into still authentic Southern Italian village life.
Our tips: Stop by Marina di Pisciotta’s "pescheria", where local fishermen sell their fresh catch – tips for preparation and cooking included free of charge.
