Villa Rita - Holiday apartment with pool at Marina di Camerota

In a cul-de-sac, only a stone’s throw from the sea lies holiday apartment Villa Rita. Picturesque, sandy Calanca beach bay, which from the apartment is always within your view, is about 100 m, the first bars, restaurants and (grocery) stores in Marina di Camerota’s centro storico are ca. 200 m off. A stroll through small alleys takes you to Piazza San Domenico, the heart of the beautiful fishing village. 

Two balconies with sea view

Villa Rita is located on the 2nd floor and includes 3 balconies, two of which face the sea. The third balcony, adorned by a bougainvillea, lies in front of the apartment door to the right. 

The bright live-and-eat-in kitchen with fitted kitchen, dining furniture, sofa bed for 2 (3rd/4th person), TV and air conditioning opens onto one of the sea view balconies. The latter is furnished with a table and chairs and can be shaded by an awning. The kitchen area includes gas stove, oven and refrigerator. 

The cozy bedroom with double bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe also opens onto a balcony with a wonderful view of the sea. The bathroom with shower cabin, WC, bidet and hair dryer is found between the live-and-eat-in kitchen and the bedroom. Villa Rita features central heating and free WLAN.

There is a washing machine for shared use in the house. Parking is available along the road in front of the house. Given Villa Rita's convenient location, it is also an ideal accommodation for rail travelers, as you do not necessarily need a car onsite.

Guests staying at Villa Rita can relax at/cool off in the pool of Villa Torre delle Viole und Villa Maricarmen about 50 m off; there is also a pool bar. 

At the lovely Residence you can also use the sauna and the fitness room (extra charge). 

Our holiday tips

From sandy Calanca beach bay a beautiful walk runs along the coast, past Saracen tower Fenosa (also called Torre delle Viole) and as far as Capo Grosso beach bay.

Bays with bright sandy beaches, high cliffs and grottos of intriguing forms and names - marine nature park Infreschi between Marina di Camerota and Scario is unique and particularly popular with hikers and snorkelers. 

In the hinterland, you come across lush, untouched Mediterranean macchia, which is only every now and then traversed by livestock trails. A world of its own and completely different kinds of vegetation are found, for example, at and around Morigerati, where the WWF protected areas Grotte del Bussento and Le Casacate dei Capelli di Venere, the latter marvelous waterfalls near Casaletto Spartano, wait to be discovered.
