No uniformity
"Sea view, kind proprietors, the food was delicious and luckily not yet of the international uniformity."
U. Weber, Hotel Calanca, Sept. 2003

Holy Mary celebration
"On September 8, a celebration for the Holy Mary took place in Marina di Camerota. From our terrace we had a great view of 20 minutes of fireworks."
E. Spangler, Villa Brunella, Sept. 2003

WWF park Bussento
Ch. Giersch was mainly pleased with "countryside (mountains + sea), clean water, kind people, delicious food" in the Cilento. "Recommendation for dining in Maratea: La Locanda di Nettuno (...) WWF park Bussento was very nice!"
Ch. Giersch, Casa Balsamo, August 2003

Exceptional events
Some of the exceptional holiday events for the Lehmann family were the "celebrations from August 1 to 4 to worship the patron saint of Marina di Camerota with fireworks above the sea, [a] cake battle in Nici's restaurant Brera on Ferragosto (Assumption Day), diving expeditions in the fantastic clean water, special fruit (figs, lemon, pears, grapes, melon) with still the typical aroma [and] nightly concerts in front of the cathedral."
Fam. Lehmann, Casa Pellegrini, August 2003

A dream!

"We have enjoyed our holiday in Marina di Camerota very much. The hospitality of the Italian people has just overwhelmed us. On the second day already our host Mr. Perino gave us a bottle of olive oil as a present. We were very happy in Villa Zincalo. The entire property is marvellous and very beautifully situated. Above all, the countryside and the sea are a dream! The gastronomic recommendation "Ristorante Brera" was great. We went there for dinner almost every day, the recommendations by the exceptionally kind waiter were always the best. 4-star-menus at standard price (...)."
T. and T. Prast, Villa Zincalo, July 2003

A tough fare-well

In her holiday home, A. Binder was especially pleased with "space, view, rooms, hygiene, tranquillity". Her tip is a "hiking tour to the bays, e.g. to Porto degli Infreschi". Home again: "Seldom has a fare-well been as tough as this time to the Cilento!"
A. Binder, June 2003, Villa dei Fiori

Villa Pomarico

"We returned from Naples on 10 May after a wonderful holiday and the Villa Pomarico did us proud. (...) Congratulations on handling the Villa Pomarico and I should be grateful if you could let me have the full postal address of the family Troccoli so that we can write and thank them."
R. Berkley , May 2003, Villa Pomarico

Well-being

"We did not only find everything as described by you and agreed upon. Over and beyond that, the Balsamos were the best hosts and from the beginning we felt very good in the old town centre of Maratea."
R. Pütz/M. Klewitz, May 2003, Casa Balsamo

Untouched coastal areas

The Rädler family especially liked "the original, diverse landscape, the untouched coastal areas, the clean beaches and the really clear, clean water - plus, the dynamic, but not hectic or noisy city of Marina di Camerota. The happy and lively church community of Marina di Camerota - and the kind citizens, who are very caring."
Fam. Rädler, April 2003, Hotel Calanca

Marvellous week in Scario

"We have just spent a marvellous week in Villa Torossi. The villa and the property are exceptionally beautiful, we are very fond of Scario and the Cilento coast. Many thanks to your caretaker, Mrs. Greve, who helped us our with a car breakdown!"
M. J. Jay, April 2003, Villa Torossi
