The picturesque fishing village of Scario lies at the Gulf of Policastro and borders on one of the core zones of the National Park. From the harbour, you can take one of the fishing or excursion boats along the coast towards Marina di Camerota, enjoy untouched nature and stop once or more often for a swim in the sea.
Several of our guests made a boat tour from Scario to the beaches and grottos along the coast.

Impressive cliff-lined coast …
… and cobalt blue, clear water.
Several beaches and small bathing bays offer refreshment …
These scenically spectacular beaches are accessible only by boat …
… or, like “Spiaggia Marcellino”, via a small foot path.
One of the countless grottos along the coast.
Some of the grottos are accessible with a small boat.
Their mysterious blue light need not shun comparison with the famous Blue Grotto of Capri.
Cliffs with bizarre shapes …
… and the Saracen watchtowers characteristic for the Cilento coast accompany the boat trip.

On your way back …
…the landscape passes by.
At the end of the tour, you are welcomed by colourful Scario.
