Lovers of the sea find their paradise here. L’Elisea is located only about 50 m from the sea and 600 m from the long, fine sandy beach “Pozillo”, from which you can start marvellous beach walks all the way to Santa Maria di Castellabate.
Not only the nature of the Cilento national park offers its treasures. The owner of L’Elisea has been collecting the works of contemporary, mainly southern European artists. Skillfully, Signora De Santis combines antique furniture with the modern artworks in her Maison de Charme.
The guest rooms resemble small jewels. Each of the eight rooms (six double and two single rooms) is designed individually and tastefully. Standard features are a private bathroom with shower or bath tub/bidet/WC, TV, telephone, as well as air condition and central heating. Therefore the house is also suited for a stay during the winter months. A few rooms also have the possibility of accommodating a third person.
The guest room we have chosen for you is located on the second floor of the house and has a private balcony, from which you have a wonderful view upon the sea. Here you can reflect upon your vacation day with a glass of red wine and a bowl of olives.
Relax wonderfully in the ample and elegant lounge and breakfast hall on the ground floor of the house. In front of the stylish chimney corner you can make yourself comfortable on cooler days, two couch sets and the large dining table offer enough seating possibilities and in the beautiful library you may look for your favourite book.
Whoever likes to spend time outdoors on holidays will feel content in the garden. Here, as well as on the roofed veranda of the house, you may read your book undisturbed and make plans for the upcoming days.
In the Maison de Charme L’Elisea you will be served a rich breakfast buffet.
If desired, the owner, an impassioned cook, will serve a delicious Mediterranean menu typical for the Cilento in the evening (not in July and August). Please ask at our agency or directly on the spot.
