Casa degli Amici, in English: House of friends, the holiday home built in 2005 and located in Scario (Cilento, Campania) has thus been named by its owner who lives in Rome. In has been laid out and furnished in a way which gives friends and you as its future guests a comfortable feeling.

The spacious property on the border of an olive grove, two panorama terraces and the high-quality furnishing with a lot of furniture made of solid wood provide for just the right atmosphere for a successful holiday.

Here, somewhat above the fishing village of Scario, in the exclusive residential area Parco la Pietra, the sparkling sea and the Gulf of Policastro are, so to speak, at your feet.

The living space on the first floor:

From the staircase you will reach the 40 sqm, partly roofed terrace. You will enjoy a fantastic view of the sea and the mountain regions of the Cilento beyond – the view reaching as far down as Calabria.

There are deck chairs for sun worshippers and rattan seating accommodations for those who prefer reading a book in the shade.

From the terrace you enter the comfortably furnished living-cum-dining room. Its bed-settee offers sleeping accommodation for further guests. Furthermore, the room is equipped with a TV.

The separate kitchen with modern fitted kitchen offers whatever you need to prepare southern Italian delicacies; the dishwasher is a welcome assistant.

The living space on the ground floor:

The ground floor apartment is accessed via the large roofed terrace in front of Casa degli Amici. In the spacious living-cum-dining room, you can relax on the comfortable sofa and chairs. A fireside provides for a cosy atmosphere.

In the kitchen, you will find, among other things, a full oven and a dish washer. The two bedrooms on the ground floor, a double and a twin with additional bunk bed, are tastefully furnished. The double bedroom has an en suite bathroom with shower, WC and bidet. The second bathroom is equipped with bathtub, WC and bidet.

On the ground floor, you will also find a TV and a washing machine. 

During their stay at Casa degli Amici, active vacationers have several possibilities of getting to know the Cilento and its wonders of nature.

While hiking, e.g. onto Monte Bulgheria, you will discover the charms of the area "tra mare e monti".

Our tip for your holiday in the Cilento: A hiking tour to the Vallone Marcellina can be combined with a refreshing swim at one of the bays only accessible on foot or by boat. For your way back, you should have a fisherman pick you up. During the boat trip, the landscape passes by – and surely you, too, will be enchanted by this unique, completely unspoiled coastal area.
