Casa Pallino is idyllically situated on a mountain slope above the sea.
Here you can enjoy perfect quietness and a splendid view to Cape Palinuro. Casa Pallino is part of Pietralata, a calm and small village belonging to the medieval Pisciotta, 4 km from your holiday home.
The sea is 5 km away and its large sandy beach Saline can be reached by car within 10 minutes.
Casa Pallino originally comprised two apartments on two levels; however, it is only to be rented as a whole.
So it is ideal for a large family, acquainted families or a small group up to 9 persons. The whole living space is approx. 130 s.qm.

On the ground floor, there is a large, comfortable kitchen-cum-living room with modern built-in kitchen, glassed-in veranda and fireside. Furthermore, there are two bedrooms (one double, one twin) and a bathroom with shower/bidet/WC.
The 1st floor is accessible via an exterior staircase. Here, you will find another small kitchen-cum-living room with glassed-in veranda and fireside, two bedrooms (one double, one twin) and a bathroom with small tub/bidet/WC.
Sleeping facility for a possible 9th person is provided with the sofa bed in the living room on the ground floor.

On the coastal road from Palinuro to Velia, the medieval village Pisciotta is picturesquely situated on a hill above the Mediterranean Sea. In the narrow lanes and stairways with their palazzis and 16th century housefronts, you will experience the unique atmosphere of the Italian village life.
In spite of its closeness to the sea, Pisciotta has remained free from the side effects of tourism. Just like hundreds of years ago people live and practice their old customs and traditions.
Around the village piazza you will find grocery stores and several bars. Neither are a cash dispenser and the post office far.
A fine place to dine out is "Tre Gufi" restaurant ("Three Tawny Owls") which - not only offers delicious dishes (the pizza is superb... ) but - from the foot of the grand palazzo, the highest point of the village - also a splendid view to the sea.

To the beach of Marina di Pisciotta you may use the 1-km footpath or the 3-km road.
The medieval stairways and lanes cannot be used by car or motorcycle.
This car free area will bless you with perfect calmness and relaxtion. Sufficient car parks can be found around the centre.
