Ancient, huge olive trees and the wide open cobalt-blue sea shape the landscape around the medieval Pisciotta.

Right at the steep coast in an olive grove, which slopes towards the sea, lies the enclave Acqua Bianca, consisting of several houses.

In this green idyll, at the edge of an olive grove, Casa Menaica was completed in 2004.

Due to the slightly inclining location, you have a beautiful view to the sea and to the Cilento coast, guarded by Saracen towers.

The bright, airy house blends in perfectly into the silvery-green olive countryside.

From both bedrooms you have access to the large balcony, which runs along the entire length of the house and offers an impressive sea view.

 The name of the house is derived from the menaica, the traditional way of anchovy fishing practised by Pisciotta’s fishermen. At night, from the balcony, you can often see the illuminated fishing boats lying offshore and waiting for the anchovy swarms.

The beach and the centre of Marina di Pisciotta with grocery store, bar and restaurants are ca. 1.5 km away.
