Only a pine forest separates recently built holiday home Villino Dora from the hiking trail „Punta Licosa“, which runs directly along the seashore, and from a small boat harbour. Legend has it that Odysseus passed by here, seemingly unimpressed by the Sirens' enchanting songs. The coastline between Punta Ogliastro and Punta Licosa, at the maritime wildlife park of the same name, is particularly charming. In this section, a narrow path runs along the seashore, partly in the shade of tall umbrella pines, partly through fragrant coastal macchia.

Stretching out in the background, there is the Cilento's mountainous landscape where only scattered houses cling to the slopes.

Staying at Villino Dora is, therefore, ideal if you want to spend a hiking and bathing holiday in the Cilento National Park.

The terrace is furnished with a table, chairs and deck chairs.

The garden offers sufficient space for taking extensive sunbaths or for trying out the badminton set you have brought along.

Stores, bars and restaurants are to be found at Ogliastro Marina, 4 kilometres off.

The nature reserve at Punta Licosa is, by the way, open to residents only. Therefore, it is recommendable to travel by car, as there is no public transport to or from the holiday home.
