On the large terraces of the holiday home, a fantastic view of the deep blue sea opens up before you. You can let your eyes wander all the way to Acciaroli.
The historic holiday home, which was built over 200 years ago, spreads the charm of days gone by and offers ideal conditions for a Cilento holiday with a variety of activities.
The wide, gently sloping sandy beach of Mezzatorre (municipality of San Mauro Cilento) stretching all the way to Acciaroli is only about 200 metres off.
At Acciaroli, the original fishing village only 1.5 kilometres off which Ernest Hemingway was enthusiastic about, the lovely beach promenade and the historic village centre invite you to linger.
Casa Colonica, located above the coastal road, is very spaciously laid out with its ca. 140 m² of living area.
In the holiday home’s 6.000 m² of Mediterranean garden, in which lemon, fig, pear and almond trees grow, southern holiday feelings become real.
Two of the three large terraces offer a breathtaking panorama. So you are spoilt for choice on which terrace to enjoy your morning cappuccino and cornetto or to set up your sun bed. The deep blue sea will always be at your feet.

The holiday home is very spacious and accommodates up to eight persons. Due to Casa Colonica’s location on a slope, the main entrance lets you into the first floor of the house. Here, you will find a first, friendly dining-cum-living room where a fireside provides for a cosy atmosphere. Besides the dining table and several chairs, there is also Sat-TV with foreign channels. For a change, you can listen to the radio or use the CD player.
Three tastefully furnished bedrooms, two with double beds, are located on the first floor of Casa Colonica. Two of the bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom with shower, WC and bidet each, which is very convenient. A third bathroom of the same type is accessible from the hallway.
A spiral staircase takes you to the ground floor of your holiday home. The dining and living rooms, which are interconnected and display a good sense of style, surround you with an atmosphere of cosiness.
Here, you can serve luxurious meals made of local specialities or withdraw and enjoy a good book after an exciting day.
The living and dining room on the ground floor give onto the ca. 50 m² panorama terrace. After extensive sunbathing, you can cool off under the outdoor shower.
The eat-in kitchen is well equipped, with an oven and a washing machine, among other things. A fourth bedroom with twin beds and another bathroom with shower, WC and bidet complete the lower floor layout.

Should it be cooler, the fireside and a mobile gas heater will provide for comfortable warmth.
You can park your car on the fenced premises of Casa Colonica.
The nearest supermarket is only about 500 metres from your holiday home (open June to September). More shopping facilities, restaurants and café-bars are to be found at Acciaroli, which is 1.5 kilometres off, but can easily be reached on foot, walking along the beach.
