The name says it all: located on the green hills of Pisciotta Caprioli, friendly holiday apartment Casa Guardacosta overlooks Capo Palinuro and the deep blue Tyrrhenian Sea. Thus, during your stay, one of the Cilento’s landmarks literally lies at your feet. Casa Guardacosta is only about 2.5 kilometres from the nearest beach (pebble). The wonderfully wide and gently sloping sandy beach of Saline is about 3.5 kilometres off.
The ca. 30 m², partly roofed panorama terrace will quickly become your favourite spot. Here you can unwind and enjoy a dreamlike setting, sunbathe, give yourself over to your holiday book or enjoy fresh specialities in a large circle. Running around the front side of Casa Guardacosta, there is another terrace with an awning providing for pleasant shade on warm summer days.
Your 70 m² holiday apartment is located on the first floor of a villa with altogether three apartments and visible from afar due to its bright yellow façade. Built on a slope, the entrance to Casa Guardacosta is at ground level. Upon entering, there is the large, light flooded kitchen-cum-living-room with its wonderful picture window framing Capo Palinuro like a postcard. The living area with a sofa bed is optically separated from the dining area. The modern kitchen unit is equipped with a full oven, among other things.
The holiday apartment accommodates up to six persons. The three bedrooms, one double and two twins, are as tastefully furnished as the rest of the apartment. The two bathrooms of Casa Guardacosta are equipped with shower, WC and bidet.
Furthermore, the holiday apartment offers washing machine and Sat-TV. Due to central heating, the holiday apartment can also be recommended for a stay during cooler seasons.
Upon request, the owner will gladly furnish a children’s cot.
You can park your car in front of the house. Please note that the access road to Casa Guardacosta is not suitable for low-slung cars.
The nearest shopping facilities are to be found at Caprioli, about 800 metres off.
Profit from the location of Caprioli right in the heart of the Cilento and discover this bathing and hiking paradise with its authentic small towns.
The medieval town of Pisciotta, for example, sits picturesquely on a hilltop above the Mediterranean Sea along the coastal road running from Palinuro to Velia. In the narrow terraced alleys, passing palazzos and rows of houses dating from the 16th century, you experience the unique atmosphere of authentic Southern Italian village life. Only a few kilometres off, the lively fishing village of Marina di Camerota with its charming „centro storico“ is also worth a visit.
