It was after Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love and beauty, that the owner has named her house in the well-tended villa subdivision of Laura di Paestum. The busts of Apollo, the god of arts and poetry, and of Cicero, the Roman politician, philosopher and gifted speaker, are the godfathers of the two holiday apartments in the villa.
A fascinating past and soothing beach life are literally found side by side during a stay in Villa Aphrodite:
Your holiday domicile is located only about 70 m from the marvellously wide and long sandy beach of Paestum. The more culturally interested will stand within a few minutes’ drive in front of impressive witnesses of ancient history, the famous ancient Greek temples of Paestum.
Whether it may be after a day on the beach or after an excursion – you will look forward to return to your friendly and well-equipped holiday apartment and just have a great time there. Both apartments are situated on the upper floor of the house, have their separate entrances and are laid-out similarly.
Each apartment is laid out for two adults and two children or for three adults.
The ample outdoor areas invite you to spend your time outside. A table with chairs, sun beds and beautiful marquees turn the terraces into an “outdoor living space”. Having meals together in the cool shade or taking in some sun, always with the sea in front of you - in Villa Aphrodite you enjoy an easygoing holiday atmosphere.
The terraces of the two holiday apartments are separated by a sliding door. Therefore the apartments "Apollo" and "Cicero" can also be rented together for up to 8 people.
Holiday apartment Apollo
The three terraces make up for the special charm of holiday apartment Apollo. From the marquee terrace mentioned above you access the sun terrace over a staircase. On days of clear visibility, you can see all the way from here to Capri. The third, smaller terrace has access to your bedroom (with double bed), which appears very comfortable due to a mirror commode and two fauteuils. You may also make yourself comfortable in the spacious kitchen-cum-living room. A fully equipped built-in kitchen (with German coffee maker and microwave oven), the dining area, as well as a sofa (at the same time sleeping possibility for up to two guests), fauteuil and TV provide for cosy living. Your bathroom is equipped with shower/bidet/WC and washing machine.
Holiday apartment Cicero
Due to the window panes towards the large, L-shaped marquee terrace, the spacious kitchen-cum-living room of holiday apartment Cicero appears bright and airy. Here the preparation of holiday meals is real fun. There is a fully equipped built-in kitchen, with microwave oven and German coffee maker. You may relax on the cosy sofa (at the same time sleeping possibility for up to two guests), a radio with CD player and a TV set provide for entertainment. From the romantic bedroom (with double bed) you have access to the terrace and to your bathroom (with shower/bidet/WC).
You may park your car in the cul-de-sac in front of the house. The nearest grocery stores and restaurants are found within about 800 m.
The owner of Villa Aphrodite speaks German and French fluently and is glad to offer advice during your holidays.
Discover during your holiday in Villa Aphrodite the diversity of the Cilento! Water rats will find beautiful beaches and clear water along the coast. Lovers of extended hiking tours will get their money’s worth in the national park. Apart from a visit to the temples already mentioned above, excursions to Pompeii, Herculaneum, Velia or Padula are worthwhile.

Prices per week for the holiday apartment are valid for the number of persons given in brackets and incl. bed linen, towels, heating and final cleaning. A deposit of 100 Euro is due upon arrival.
* For a possible 3rd and 4th person a supplement of 40 Euro each will be charged in the period from 29.06.2013 - 31.08.2013, an amount of 25 Euro per person per week in all other periods.
If the two apartments are rented together, you receive a 5% discount (minimum stay: 2 weeks).
The apartments can be occupied by two adults and two children or by three adults, at most.
