The fact that the friendly owner designed Casa Miramar for his family becomes apparent at first sight. As soon as you see the tasteful salmon pink façade, the spacious outdoor areas and the colourful and modern furnishing, you would like to move into the holiday apartment at once.
What strikes you most, however, is the location of Casa Miramar: Here, on a slope between the fishing village of Marina di Pisciotta and the historic town of Pisciotta, you meet with a gorgeous panoramic view of the deep blue sea and of Capo Palinuro, the Cilento’s landmark.
Those dreaming of long summer evenings on the terrace and romantic sunsets over the sea are in the right place here. The sea is at a straight-line distance of only about 300 metres from the holiday apartments.
It is 1.5 kilometres to the sandy beach of Marina di Pisciotta. In this idyllic small fishing village, you will find grocery stores, restaurants and café-bars. 1.5 kilometres uphill, lies medieval Pisciotta with its picturesque centro storico, where you can experience authentic Southern Italian village life at close range.
Casa Miramar was built in 2007. Its inviting façade is kept in salmon pink and is charming due to its nice round-arched portico. The two holiday apartments we have chosen are located on the first floor and accessible via a private outer entrance. The larger of the two holiday apartments is laid out for four persons, the other one for up to three persons.
Each apartment has its private outdoor area, thus there is nothing to keep you from having a cosy breakfast out-of-doors with a view of the sea. The furnishing of Casa Miramar’s holiday apartments is tasteful and modern. The Vietri tiles adorning the floors are particularly beautiful.
Holiday apartment for four persons (type A):
The larger of the two holiday apartments is located on the upper floor to the left when facing the sea. When mounting the stairs to this apartment, you will first find yourself on the spacious, ca. 30 m² panorama terrace, which will quickly become your favourite spot. Relaxing on the sun bed, you can leave daily routine behind and take in the Southern Italian sun.
Upon entering the apartment, you will find the colourful kitchen-cum-living room – the dining table and chairs kept in red, the well equipped built-in kitchen with full oven kept in yellow. Besides a sofa, there is Sat-TV with foreign channels.
The kitchen-cum-living room gives access to a small balcony which also offers a great view of Capo Palinuro. The apartment includes two bedrooms, a double and a twin. Upon request, the owner will readily furnish a children’s cot. The bathroom is equipped with shower, WC, bidet and a washing machine.
Holiday apartment for up to three persons (type B):
Upon entering the apartment for two persons, which is located on the upper floor to the right, you will find the spacious and light flooded kitchen-cum-living room. All those who want to do some cooking during their holidays will surely welcome the full oven of the modern built-in kitchen. You can then enjoy delicious meals at the orange coloured dining table. The sofa bed offers sleeping accommodation for a possible third person.
The kitchen-cum-living room gives access to a small terrace which offers a view of the sea and Capo Palinuro. The apartment’s double bedroom is spacious. The bathroom is equipped with shower, WC and bidet. Furthermore, the apartment includes Sat-TV with foreign channels.
Both holiday apartments of Casa Miramar offer heating and air conditioning, thus providing for pleasant temperatures all year round.
Upon request and for a fee, the owner rents mountain bikes.
You can park your car on the fenced premises of Casa Miramar.
