Between the mountains and the sea, a little above Maratea in the Campo subdivision, Casa Gravina is located in a stunning panoramic setting.
The sea in full view, the gaze drifts along the impressive mountain scenery to the landmark of Maratea, the far visible statue of Christ.
Campo is a quiet scattered out settlement with former farm houses and large estates.
The house of the Gravina family is surrounded by a marvellously grown orchard with apricot, lemon and olive trees.
In the main building Tara and the extension Emanuela you can feel as if staying in two separate holiday homes.
Because even in the garden, which is used commonly, everybody has its own space: apartment Tara has two ground-floor terraces, apart from the sea-view roof terrace. From the ample terrace of apartment Emanuela you enjoy the frontal view of the sea.
Proof of the fact that the house was originally meant for private use by the owners only, is the individual and tasteful interior. The use of mainly massive wooden furniture in arte povera style is only one example.
On the ground floor of apartment Tara you find a kitchen-cum-dining room with chimney, from which you have access to the seawards terrace, shaded by a pergola.
From the ground floor living room (with TV) you reach another terrace on the side. A spiral staircase leads from the living room to the first floor.
Here are two bedrooms (double bed and three single beds) and a bathroom with shower/WC/bidet.
Both bedrooms have access to the 25 sqm roof terrace, which offers a marvellous view of the sea and the Christ of Maratea.
Holiday apartment Tara is equipped with a washing machine.
Apartment Emanuela in the one-storey extension building offers a spacious living/dining room with chimney and TV. Adjoining to the dining area is an open kitchen with tiled cooking niche.
The two bedrooms are furnished with double bed and bunk bed, respectively, the latter having its own small bathroom (sink/WC/bidet). Additionally, there is a bathroom with shower/WC/bidet.
From the living area you have access to the ample sea-view terrace.
The apartment is also equipped with a washing machine, a barbecue grill and an outdoor shower.
On the 1,000 sqm fenced property there are several parking spots.
Grocery stores and restaurants are found in Maratea (about 2 km). The nearest beach – in the Fiumicello subdivision – is 7 km (approx. 10 car minutes) away.
Recommendable are hiking tours directly from the house into the hilly hinterland of Maratea.

Prices per week are valid for the number of persons given in brackets and include bed linens, towels and final cleaning. In case of using the central heating there is an extra charge of 70 Euro per week on the spot. The use of wire food will be charged according to consumption.
A deposit of 150 Euro is due upon arrival.
