It is not only cultural sights and magnificent green landscape that the Cilento has to offer, but also gorgeous and wide sandy beaches.
Casa Amatucci with its two tastefully furnished holiday apartments is only 50 m from the long, gently sloping sandy beach of Castellabate Lago. Ideal for families with children or couples who not only want to discover the Cilento, but also like to take a refreshing swim in clean sea waters.
A paradise for joggers, too: the long sandy beach is an invitation to sports activities.
Shopping facilities as well as a bar are 100 m off. The centre of Santa Maria di Castellabate is at a walking distance of 1 km along the beach and a driving distance of 2.5 km.
At the lungomare and in the pedestrian zone of the small town, you can talk relaxing walks and enjoy the Southern Italian atmosphere.
The holiday apartments:
The two stylish holiday apartments are located next to each other on the 1st floor of a residential house. The friendly owning couple lives on the upper floor of the house.
Apartment Cielo, lovingly designed in the colours of the sky, accommodates 2 persons. It includes a double bedroom with large wardrobe, children's cot and access of a small balcony, a bathroom with shower cabin, WC, bidet and a kitchen-cum-living room. The latter offers a fitted kitchen with 4-burner gas stove, oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment as well as TV, two-seater sofa, table with 4 chairs and access of another small balcony.
Apartment Terra accommodates 4 persons and includes a children's room with bunk bed, a double bedroom with large wardrobe and children's cot, a bathroom with shower cabin, WC and bidet as well as a kitchen-cum-living room with pull-out sofa. The kitchen area is equipped like Cielo's with a fitted kitchen with 4-burner gas stove and oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, TV and there is a beautiful glass table with chairs for 5 persons.
Each apartment is furnished with a children's cot. Furthermore, the respective bathroom is equipped with a washing machine.
At Casa Amatucci, you can take an outdoor shower before entering your apartment.
The balconies are furnished with sun beds, tables and seating accommodations.
Parking is available either next to the house on the fenced premises or along the road above the house.
Tips for excursions:
Absolutely worth an excursion: the neighbouring town of Castellabate, a medieval mountain village, which lies enthroned on a hill top and is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
For excursions into the environs, you can choose among numerous hiking tours, for example the hiking tour „Castellabate and Santa Maria“. It is with regard to visibility conditions that you should go on this tour either early in the morning or shortly before sunset.
It is about half an hour by car to the famous Greek temples at Paestum and the ancient town of Pompeii is worth a day trip.
